Long Eaton Townscape Heritage Initiative - Grants Still Available!

The Long Eaton Conservation Areas Townscape Heritage Initiative is an exciting and innovative project, which seeks to revitalise Long Eaton’s historic centre through the repair, reinstatement and conservation of the town’s heritage. Long Eaton Town Centre

This will have two main benefits of helping to retain and reinforce the local identity of Long Eaton, and to increase investor confidence in the town's economic vitality.

Your property could potentially qualify for a grant towards the cost of building improvements, including repairs to the roof, or even a new shopfront!

Grant's of up to 67% of the cost of works are avaiable if you meet the criteria.

Restoring a shopfront to a traditional one could help attract more custom and improve the appearance of Long Eaton town centre. A well-maintained building will almost always retain maximum value, and the cost of regular maintenance will more than repay itself by prevent costly outgoings when things start to go wrong.
