Fairground Model Show Long Eaton Town Hall will host the 12th Fairground Model Show and Exhibition on Saturday 19th November from 10am-5pm. The annual exhibition is free admission and is now considered to be one of the largest fairground model shows in the country. The 2011 theme is ‘replicas’ and on display will be modern and old time illuminated fairground models and forms of transport. Exhibits are judged for one of nine trophies up for grabs and a Philip Bradley memorial trophy is presented for services to the fairground modelling hobby. The show is sponsored by James Mellors Amusements and RBS Models (Long Eaton) and coincides with the Chestnut Fair in Long Eaton. |
